Nine Ukrainian companies held more than 200 meetings during the international conference of London Tech Week and reached preliminary agreements with investors from the UK, the US and the UAE for more than $8 million. This year’s exhibition-festival brought together about 30 thousand visitors – from opinion leaders to investors from dozens of countries around the world, — the press office of The Ministry of Digital Transformation informs.

“The participation of the Ukrainian delegation in such global events is now very important, because in this way we present Ukraine to the world as a powerful IT brand and direction for investment. In addition to London Tech Week itself, we talked about the opportunities of Ukrainian companies and the resilience of our state at other major venues – from the British Parliament to a large event by Politico. We saw interest from investors and I am sure that our partnership with European countries in the technology sector will only grow after this conference,” – Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation Oleksandr Bornyakov emphasized.

Delegation participants had a number of important meetings: with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom Vadym Prystaiko, the top management of London Business School, and the founders of the Blue Lake VC venture fund. They also met with representatives of the technical community of the UK with the support of the venture fund 1991 Ventures. Economic events were also held throughout the week. Thus, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksandr Hryban spoke during the discussion Shining a Spotlight on the Ukrainian Tech Ecosystem dedicated to the Ukrainian technological ecosystem.

The participation of the Ukrainian delegation in London Tech Week 2023 was made possible thanks to the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Program with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine in cooperation with Techosystem, the European Business Association, and the Ukrainian Startup Fund.
