Ukrainian tech innovator Ajax Systems is throwing its hat into the AI ring, developing its own neural network for its cutting-edge IndoorCam. Unveiled at their “Special Event” product launch last November, the IndoorCam is not your average security camera. This one’s got a brain.

“AI in cameras and doorbells is the standard in the market,” says CMO Valentyn Hrytsenko. “A person cannot simultaneously and efficiently view the video stream from a location where, for example, 150 cameras are installed.” And with Ajax’s new AI, they won’t have to.
Hrytsenko remains tight-lipped about the investment behind this ambitious project, but he’s happy to shed light on the magic behind the technology. The AI diligently analyzes the video feed, identifying potential threats and alerting homeowners to anything suspicious. “Then they review a specific part of the video and put a checkbox, whether it was a false alarm or not,” Hrytsenko explains.
This intelligent system learns from a growing database of real-life footage, generously provided by Ajax’s dedicated beta testers. “We have a beta testing program, the participants of which independently give us access to individual videos,” says Hrytsenko. Every time the AI makes a mistake, the team steps in to correct it, ensuring the system gets smarter every day.
“If the AI detected an animal in the video, but during the review it turned out to be a branch, we additionally ‘feed’ this clip to the neural network for additional training,” Hrytsenko adds.
The results speak for themselves. Pre-orders for the IndoorCam in Australia have already recouped the costs of the global launch event. “Australia is currently, according to him, the largest market in terms of the number of pre-orders for this product, with Benelux in second place,” shares Hrytsenko with a hint of pride.
But Ajax Systems isn’t resting on its laurels. “Video products will be able to beat this direction in three to four years, but the line needs to be expanded,” Hrytsenko confidently states. The company has big plans for the future of video security, including crisp, clear color night vision and a host of other exciting features.
While details remain shrouded in secrecy, one thing is certain: Ajax Systems is poised to disrupt the video security market. “If it works out, it will be a good story,” says Hrytsenko with a knowing smile.
