The British-Ukrainian defense tech company, Trypillian, has officially announced a new family of tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, signaling a major expansion of its hardware and software ecosystem. The company also revealed that a new Deep-Strike drone is in the final stages of field testing.

In a move to create comprehensive defense solutions, Trypillian is focusing on systems for deep strikes, robust battlefield communications, and frontline payload delivery. The newly unveiled family of drones represents a significant step towards this goal, integrating bespoke hardware with sophisticated software.
The lineup features four distinct platforms designed for a range of operational scenarios:
- FPV: A lightweight and cost-effective platform, available in several sizes, capable of reaching speeds up to 90 km/h for rapid response missions.
- Carrier-Repeater: A crucial communications hub designed to extend signal range in the field, boasting a tactical radius of approximately 12 km.
- Bomber: A versatile strike platform equipped with a ground control station compactly mounted in a portable case for easy transportation and swift deployment.
- VTOL: A state-of-the-art vertical take-off and landing system, ideal for reconnaissance missions in areas with limited space for take-off and landing, capable of operating at altitudes up to 3,500 meters.

A core tenet of Trypillian’s strategy is its close collaboration with active combat units. This partnership allows for real-time feedback from the battlefield, enabling the company to rapidly adjust designs and software logic to meet the evolving demands of modern warfare.
“We are launching tactical UAVs to establish ourselves as an integrator of complex defense solutions. After all, a close-range UAV is not a product, but a process. The ‘Killzone’ is the product”, says Ivan Matveichenko, CEO of Trypillian. “We provide the equipment, software, a distributed manufacturing process, and an operational doctrine that allows our clients to create a reliable perimeter of deterrence against enemy threats”.
While continuing to refine its deep-strike system through active field tests, Trypillian plans to trial the entire family of new UAVs in joint operations with Ukrainian units under real-world conditions.
As TechUkraine previously reported, this development follows Trypillian’s recent success in securing a $5 million seed investment from former UK Minister for Civil Society, Brooks Newmark.
